1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. The analytics cookie choice does not block all third-party scripts or network requests.
2. What we store
Consent choice — your accept/decline decision is saved in your browser’s localStorage (not a cookie) for 180 days, so we do not ask again on every visit. This is strictly necessary and holds no personal data.
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you accept analytics. Before consent or after refusal, our tag sends no Analytics measurements, including cookieless signals. Accepting permits cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Withdrawal disables measurement, deletes accessible first-party analytics cookies and reloads the page.
3. Third-party cookies
Some pages embed booking widgets from our partners (GetYourGuide availability widgets, the Stay22 script on hotel links), and the transport pages link out to DiscoverCars for car hire. When a widget loads or when you follow a partner link, that partner may set its own cookies under its own policy — see the links below.
4. How to manage cookies
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie preferences” in the footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings — the site keeps working either way.
